Frequently Asked Questions by Marketing Teams

Will you always be available? How do I know you wont disappear like the last guy?

To be frank, that’s not our style. This is a business, it’s not my side-gig. We take it as seriously as you take your business.

What is the cancellation policy?

Plans run month to month. We’d suggest an initial stretch of three months to kick-off but really you can cancel at anytime from the day after payment (for that month) is taken, right up until the day before your next payment is due.

You’ll be paying for our help and support for the upcoming month. In exceptional circumstances, part month refunds would be issued if the plan was cancelled within the first week of a new billing cycle.

Is this just for large pieces of work?

Our three maintenance plans cover all gamuts of work, larger pieces of work would suit the larger Partner Plan, but we’ll always work with you to identify the most suitable WordPress maintenance plan based on your business goals.

Will you need access to my server/hosting account?

Once the contracts are signed and sealed, we would need access to your server. Typically gaining access via sFTP login details and/or CPanel login details.

How will I know you’re working on my tasks?

Scheduling is not our only secret weapon, we also rely on Basecamp too! Basecamp is a project management tool through which we provide frequent communication and total transparency on the tasks being worked upon. When we work together there should never be a time where you’re thinking, I wonder what WPbees are up to today? .. unless we’re on a scheduled family holiday, in which case the answer is most probably “wrangling with the kids and sipping piña coladas”.

These Plans seem mighty expensive!

We’re a skilled WordPress development team and have cut our teeth working on hundreds of WordPress websites. When you hire us you’re not hiring a junior developer who will learn on the job, you’re hiring someone with bags of experience, a developer who can make better changes faster than many other freelance WordPress developers. Our role is fundamentally to give you value and we feel the three plans are priced with this in mind.

Will you work with our existing code? Are you happy taking over a project?

Absolutely. Sure, we prefer to roll our own, but we frequently work and extend existing custom code and third-party plugins.

Who will own the site (code) once you’ve finished working?

That would be you. If we’re taking over a project then the code would already be yours, whilst if we’re creating some new functionality from scratch, once the bills are settled and the project is complete, you would retain full ownership.

Our site must be responsive and work on mobiles, is that a problem?

We’ve been working with responsive websites for over eight years. Every site we work on these days is optimised for viewing on many different devices including phones and tablets.

Will the work you do be search engine optimised?

Wherever possible the sites we work on will be tweaked and optimised to improve their performances within the major search engines.

Can you provide on-going email support?

It doesn’t have to end when the deal is done and the training is delivered. We can become an integral part of your team, virtually. We can take care of your specific WordPress development needs, and we can communicate with your team, manage deadlines, and understand your goals, working proactively to meet them. In short, We can ensure that your WordPress website is working as hard as it can for you, and that it always evolves to meet your needs – today, tomorrow and well into the future.
